Catering at Hunterhouse
The College provides catering for staff and students three times a day through its Redwoods Restaurant.
Breakfast is available between 8am and 8.45am
Menu includes: Cereal, fruit, freshly baked bread, eggs and hot drinks.
Break is served between 10:15 and 10:30am*
Weekly menu includes: Croissants, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt, cheese sodas, sausage rolls, bacon rolls and pain au chocolat.
Lunch is available between 12:30 and 1:20pm (from 12:15pm for students in the Sixth Form)**
Weekly menu includes: Pasta Bolognese; chicken curry; crispy sweet chilli chicken; pasta carbonara; chicken burgers; beef burgers and a variety of home-made soups. Two days a week, chips are available. These are served with a variety of toppings. A full salad and sandwich bar is also available with a variety of breads on offer. Meal deals are available every day at a cost of £2.80.
Payment for Catering Services
The College operates a biometric contactless payment system. Staff and students have a fingerprint scan which they use at the payment points in Redwoods to pay for items of food/drink. Staff and students can pay into their accounts, either online or by cash at either of the two Reval machines in school.
Students who do not wish to use Redwoods are welcome to bring a packed lunch. This can be eaten in the student’s designated Lunch Room or at the outdoor picnic tables, weather permitting.
Please note that students are not allowed to leave the school site during the day, including at break and lunch times.
